"Pendulum" is a really dope song (of course it is since I made it). It's an indie-rock track that reminds me that I am only Ian and no one and no-thing else. Its message is this: Don’t fold on yourself, no matter what the expectations you’ve created for yourself might be telling you. I often find myself questioning if I’m doing the things I need or even in the right way. But the truth is, the only thing I need to do is be unapologetically and unequivocally Ian :)

Life can be confusing, and we will never have everything figured out. But that's the beauty of it all. It’s a giant pendulum made up to smaller pendulums made up of even tinier pendulums that get increasingly and infinitely smaller that all swing back and forth. Its movement never stops. We change and grow analogously with its movement.

It’s always dimmest before dawn. And dawn, no matter how long the night seems, always comes just as the pendulum always swings.
